Our Founder

Harrison Land Patrick,
Founder TWC

I’ve been in the garden since I was kid. When I was 16, I had a dream to build an operation up in the mountains where I grew up. I’ve always desired to supply, sustain, and live an extraordinary life on my terms. Through practicing sustainability I have learned that nobody can do it alone, and that is where Top of the World Cultivator’s originated. I’ve studied with, interned for, and now collaborate with many of the top experts in the field.

Being a life-long cultivator, my friends and family were surprised when I chose to study economics at the University of Colorado, Boulder. To me, economics and sustainable agriculture go hand and hand. I’ve also worked in Aspen’s top restaurants since I was 15 years old, and I am passionate about food and service. I have a deep love for saving and breeding seeds, cultivating intense flavor, and cooking innovative dishes. Pursuing these passions have brought me here today.

I dream of a future where we live in harmony with nature rather than against it. For generations the Western world has depleted the soil, dumped chemicals on the earth, used pesticides that destroy the delicate balance between insects and plants, and have used up many precious resources that life depends upon. Rather than constantly seeking food production from artificial sources, my dream is to reclaim and enrich the natural soil of the earth to produce an abundance of the most nutrient dense and delicious foods of the earth.

Food is life and the source of our vitality. Top of the World Cultivators, LLC’s goal is to increase local supply, enrich the fertility of the land for future generations, and cultivate the highest quality produce. We believe environmental and economic sustainability can go hand in hand.

In our first year of production, we supplied the finest chefs in Aspen with the best food available, tailored to their needs. In 2023 we increased our production five-fold and we are looking forward to an even more abundant 2024.
